Pleet Home Care CDPAP located in the Heart of Buffalo is looking to hire an experienced Home Care Marketer/Business Development to join our Marketing Team and help us grow and develop. Your goal is to submit referrals and enroll them.

Job Responsibilities

• Bring workable patient referrals to the agency
• Develop new referral sources in the community
• Strengthen relationships with new and existing referral sources - daily visits to organizations, physician offices, hospitals, assisted livings facilities and adult day care to educate and inform referral sources and patients of home health options
• Promote our professional services within the community.
• Pre-plan weekly marketing activities and follow-through
• Maintain complete and concise written documentation relating to all sales activity to assure appropriate lead tracking and follow-up
• Daily visits to physician offices/hospitals/assisted livings facilities and adult day cares to educate and inform referral sources and patients of home health options
• Event coordination and community liaison - participate in health fairs, awareness days, etc.

Job Qualifications

• Prior experience in Home Health Care is required.
• Knowledge and understanding of Medicaid/Medicare guidelines and MLTCs important
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail and communication skills.
